Chemist Warehouse Belmont

Brought a Pulse Oximeter from the Belmont chemist warehouse on my way to the gym. The device did not function properly so I called back in on my way home from the gym to request an exchange or a refund. I was advised by the Store Manager that a refund or exchange was not store policy and that I would have to contact the manufacturer to sort out. I contacted consumer protection when I got home and I was advised over the phone that what they were doing is unlawful and that they would intervene if the store would not either refund or exchange. Consumer protection sent me an email to show the store manager to confirm the advice I was given over the phone. It was only after l returned to the store and showed the store manager the email that my item was exchanged. Never again will l be returning to this store. The customer service for this store is absolutely appalling and unlawful!!!

Great prices, terrible waiting times.Staff are really nice, but the v waiting time for a script is kinda wild... Put at least 30 mins aside.

The waiting for precription medication was horrible. They have the sign shortage of staff due to Covid, so what's wrong now? I have been here a few times, so avoid this one if you can go to other CWH branch.

Oh boy, I wish I checked the reviews beforehand. Can confirm the wait times are ludicrous at this particular branch. Would recommend avoiding if you need to pick up a script.

The standout mention here is the staff - every single visit I have found them friendly, helpful, and they will go out of their way to find an item for you. One time I was after a product which some chemists had said was no longer being produced. The staff searched online, even though they were busy, trying to find out what was happening with the product. The prices are great and the store is quite large. They even sell dog vitamins! The only downside is the parking - there is plenty of car spaces however with so many stores in this precinct, it can be difficult to find a parking spot. I would recommend this store.

Fantastic customer services, staff were happy, friendly and very helpful. The business location is inbetween all the second hand thrift stores including Salvos, it is pretty convenient and finding all sorts of random unusual trinkets is a bonus.

I ordered 4 items and Belmont picked up my online order, it seems like there was two items that they didn't have available and there's no communication in notes in the parcel or an email to email me of the missing items. Piss poor communication. Do not order from online. Better to shop physically.

Consistently get my order wrong! They stock my prescriptions by my Dr’s orders, yet every month deny they have it until I carry on, then they suddenly find it! Wait is ridiculous, over 35 minutes every time. Bad customer service. It blows my mind.

Ive been going to Chemist Warehouse a long time now and the main reason would be they are cheaper in most cases for prescriptions. I always buy the generic brands and most of the time they are at least half the price of most other chemists that provide generic brands. Prices of other items do vary so you really need to know your prices before purchasing anything else as some things are cheaper and some things are more expensive. What I don't like and know why Chemist Warehouse do this, is I don't like the fact that you have to wait at least in most cases 30 minutes or more for your prescription to be ready. They give you a buzzer and when your prescription is ready to collect you then collect the prescription. The reason they do this is so that you have time to look around at all the other items that they have available and hope that you purchase additional items as well. Chemist Warehouse in Belmont does for me seem to have more of a range of items than some of the other Chemist Warehouses that are in a similar vicinity. The service I must say is not grea. I have had issues using vouchers there and they don't recognise the vouchers, and the staff, (not all) but most of the staff have no idea about products when you're asking about them. Otherwise if you're looking to fill a script and don't mind a generic brand in most cases you will be paying from $5 upwards.

Very unprofessional rude staff and as well management. I just purchased the wrong item just the different size and came back after few minutes to exchange it with right size. I just opened the pack which can easily be put back on shelf.
